The medallion shows the arms of Julich-Cleve-Berg, a confederation of small states in the Holy Roman Empire. A more complete vessel with the same arms was excavated from <a href=\"https:\/\/historicjamestowne.org\/collections\/artifacts\/bartmann-jugs\/?srsltid=AfmBOopf-WgtIY9dC40OQ4q2qm1VP0X2i5Msnm4g8vwiSnxYLy7S8FEU\">Jamestown, Virginia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
