The design is a crown or coronet atop a shield inside which are three six-pointed stars and a chevron. I have not been able to identify the arms, but <a href=\"https:\/\/armorial.bibsoc.org.uk\/ordinaries\/chevron-between4658.html?page=2\">British Armorial Bindings<\/a> suggests several individuals including Sir Thomas Davies, Lord Mayor of London in 1677.
