Copper-alloy floral mount

A cast copper-alloy mount in the form of a five-petalled flower, late medieval or early post-medieval. Metal mounts of this kind were commonly used to decorate leather belts and straps. A similar, cinquefoil example recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme (SWYOR-402AD8) is dated 1500-1700.
