A sherd of tin-glazed Delftware tile depicting the bare feet and lower legs of a figure walking through a landscape, 17th or 18th century. It may have been produced in the Netherlands or locally in the Rotherhithe pothouse or in Southwark.

Delftware tiles commonly represented everyday life as well as Biblical or mythical characters. An example of a bare-footed character can be seen in this complete tile from c. 1660.
