Bottle seal with heraldic design

, , ,

A glass bottle seal with a heraldic design, 17th-18th century. The design is a crown or coronet atop a shield inside which are three six-pointed stars and a chevron. I have not been able to identify the arms, but British Armorial Bindings suggests several individuals including Sir Thomas Davies, Lord Mayor of London in 1677. The glass is dark green.
