Decorated watch winder

, , ,

Fragment of a copper alloy watch winder, 18th-19th century. On one side two mythical figures are playing musical instruments, surrounded by trees. On the other, two figures flank what appears to be a globe in a wooden stand. Perhaps they represent music/the arts and trade/commerce respectively.
