Toy plate made of lead alloy or pewter, with two lugs, probably imitating a porringer, 17th century. The design features a rose with six inner and six outer petals, surrounded by concentric circles, one of which is beaded. The lugs are decorated with curlicues.
Similar examples of toy porringers recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme (e.g. LON-72F2D8) have been dated to the 16th or 17th centuries.
