Henry VII silver halfpenny

, , ,

A silver halfpenny of Henry VII (1485-1509) with portrait of the monarch on the obverse and a long cross with three pellets in each quarter on the reverse. Found near Southwark Bridge on a very cold day.

The legend is hard to make out, but would have read HENRIC DI GRA REX on the obverse and CIVITAS LONDON on the reverse.
