Lead mount with floral design

A lead mount whose head forms a floral design with internal rivet, probably used to decorate a leather strap. A number of examples are recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme and dated between 1350 and 1600. This example (LON-5D5F52) is closest in form and is dated to the early 15th century.
