A lead or lead alloy miniature boot from a set of the popular board game Monopoly, 1935-c.1950.
The boot, complete with hobnails, was first introduced by Parker Brothers in late 1935 alongside the original token set (which included the cannon, thimble, top hat, iron and battleship), modeled after charms from a charm bracelet. The boot is widely believed to represent the working class. It was phased out in 2017.
