Figurine of woman in dress

A pipe clay figurine of a woman from waist down wearing a full-length double dress with a bow at the back, late 17th century. The figure may represent Maria Stuart (1689-1694), wife of William III of England. Numerous examples of a similar design have been found in the Netherlands.

Recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme (LON-757B43).
